Of the 1,990,522 citizens living in Bexar County in 2021, 74.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,481,866 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 728,119 were male, constituting 49.1%, and 753,747 were female, making up 50.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Bexar County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
